Application for Workshops and Meet the Expert Sessions

Submission for Workshop and Meet The Expert Sessions proposals is now closed.

We are looking forward to a highly interactive ISPPD, with lots of opportunities for all participants to engage. We hope that you will support this endeavor by submitting your application to conduct a WS and MTE session for ISPPD 2018 in Melbourne.

Workshops (WS). These are a new event in the ISPPD program.  Workshops will be run on Sunday April 15th from ~2-5 pm (before the opening ceremony). Numbers of participants will be restricted to promote a truly interactive experience. Attendees will preregister, and there will be a small additional charge for attending workshops. Workshops will mostly be run at the conference venue, however we may have capacity to hold a small number off-site (such as those needing laboratory space, high-performance computing etc.).

Meet-the-expert sessions (MTE). Will be held during the conference, most likely during extended lunchbreak(s). There would be no additional charge for participants to attend the Meet-the-expert sessions. These would be of similar size to MTEs in previous ISPPD meetings (e.g. 50 participants).

Those that are selected to conduct WS and/or MTE will receive a contribution towards their cost of attending ISPPD; this process will be administered by the conference organiser kenes.

To apply to conduct a WS and/or MTE session, please complete this application form, save document as "Contact name_WS and MTE application", and email with "Submission_WS and MTE application" in the subject line to isppd@mcri.edu.au by 31 July, 2017.

You will receive a confirmation of submission within one week, and notification of outcome within one month.

For any questions please contact Helen Thomson on isppd@mcri.edu.au with "WS and MTE query" in the subject line.

Best wishes,

Catherine Satzke and Kim Mulholland

on behalf of the LOC
